We are breaking down the methods of painting, as well as sketching & drawing even further than we’ve done before, back to the bare essentials, so that whatever your level - whether a complete beginner, or someone who wants to develop your painting and/or sketching & drawing further - you will enjoy the results of working-along with the projects.
We kick off with Module 1- in these eighteen-video box-sets.
Each box-set features three, step-by-step, work-along projects – the first a still-life, the second, a flower study and the third, a landscape.
Each project comprises six video tutorials.
Each project starts with a video in which I feature basic painting or drawing tools and share tips on their characteristics and how to use them.
Every element in any subject has four principal properties – edge, volume, colour or tone and texture.
So, the next four videos in each project feature a series of exercises – showing you how to successfully portray these four properties – to bring a three-dimensional quality to your paintings, sketches and drawings.

We build-up to finish with Part 6, in each of the three projects and a work-along study, using everything learned in Parts 1 to 5.
I guide you step-by-step on the method of how to exploit your basic painting or drawing tools, pulling together everything learned in Part 1.
I guide you step-by-step on the method of how to exploit edge, volume, colour or tone and texture, pulling together everything learned in Parts 2 to 5.
Working from start-to-finish, on a painting and/or drawing sketch of a still-life, a flower-study and a landscape.
Work-along with me, on these three of the most common subjects, at a pace to suit you –and let your paints, brushes and/or your pencil take you on this journey of discovery.
Thank you for reading our latest news and for your continued interest in our work; for It is your support that motivates us to keep creating and producing art tutorials and working on our various projects and for that we are indebted to you.
As ever, this comes with best wishes, from Eileen and myself. Stay safe and keep well, in spirit and in health.
